About Mooto Holdings Limited

Mooto Holdings Limited is seeking energetic, self-motivated and results-oriented individuals to join the organisation as Sales and Marketing Interns under a six-month internship programme.

The internship is designed to provide successful candidates with practical experience in sales coordination, customer engagement, invoicing, marketing and business development.

The successful candidates will work from the Mooto Holdings office located in the Mwembeshi area of Lusaka, along Mumbwa Road. Shared accommodation will be provided at the same location.

Job Purpose

The Sales and Marketing Interns will support the organisation in generating sales, maintaining customer relationships, coordinating marketing activities and ensuring that customers receive timely and professional service.

The interns will also assist with preparing invoices, maintaining sales records, following up on customer enquiries and implementing marketing campaigns.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidates will be responsible for:

• Identifying and approaching potential customers.
• Promoting the organisation’s products and services.
• Coordinating sales activities and following up on sales leads.
• Engaging with existing and prospective customers through telephone calls, emails, social media and physical meetings.
• Responding to customer enquiries and providing accurate information about products and services.
• Preparing quotations, sales orders and customer invoices.
• Following up on outstanding quotations, orders and customer payments.
• Maintaining accurate customer, sales and marketing records.
• Assisting in the planning and implementation of marketing campaigns.
• Creating and coordinating promotional content for social media and other marketing platforms.
• Conducting basic market research and gathering customer feedback.
• Preparing regular sales and marketing activity reports.
• Supporting customer relationship management and after-sales service.
• Working with other departments to ensure that customer orders are processed and delivered efficiently.
• Performing any other sales, marketing or administrative duties assigned by management.

Qualifications and Requirements

Applicants must:

• Hold a degree in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration, Public Relations, Commerce, Entrepreneurship or a related field.
• Have a functional personal computer that they can use during the internship.
• Be available to report for work on 17 August 2026.
• Be willing to work from the Mooto Holdings office in Mwembeshi, along Mumbwa Road.
• Be willing to stay in the shared accommodation provided by the organisation.
• Have good verbal and written communication skills.
• Be confident in engaging customers and promoting products and services.
• Have basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, email and social media platforms.
• Be organised and capable of maintaining accurate sales and customer records.
• Be self-motivated, disciplined and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Be comfortable working under a commission-based remuneration arrangement.
