Sales & Administration Officer
Location: Lusaka
Employment Type: Full-Time
About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized, results-driven, and detail-oriented Sales & Administration Officer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting sales operations, credit administration, debt recovery, human resources administration, and general office functions. This position requires a professional who can effectively balance customer service, administrative duties, and compliance while maintaining high standards of accuracy and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities
Sales and Credit Administration
- Authenticate customer loan application documentation submitted by Front Office staff.
- Assess customer affordability and creditworthiness in line with company lending policies.
- Ensure timely, accurate, and quality-assured processing of loan applications.
- Approve loan amount limit requests within delegated authority levels.
- Adhere to industry best practices and company policies in the issuance of credit.
- Report suspected or actual fraud in accordance with the Company's Fraud Prevention Policy.
- Maintain accurate customer loan application records, databases, and document backups on company platforms.
- Prepare and circulate credit operational reports within agreed timelines.
- Manage debt collection and recovery processes to minimize loan defaults.
Administration and Human Resources
- Prepare PMEC documentation and bank mandates.
- Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, and induction of new employees.
- Administer statutory obligations, including NAPSA, NHIMA, and PAYE compliance.
- Coordinate staff training and development initiatives.
- Maintain accurate employee records and support general HR administration.
- Provide administrative support to management and ensure efficient office operations.
Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Human Resource Management, Sales, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2–3 years' relevant experience in sales administration, credit administration, microfinance, banking, or a similar environment.
- Experience in debt collection and loan processing will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of Zambian labour laws and statutory compliance (NAPSA, NHIMA, and PAYE).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
