Mechanical Technician

This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside qualified Agriculture Mechanic in RDO Africa Kabwe Workshop.

Duties

a.      Reassemble machine and equipment following repair, testing and adjusting as necessary.

b.      Repair defective engines or engine components and service machines to maintain functionality.

c.      Dismantle defective machines for repair using hand tools.

d.      Clean equipment parts or tools to repair or maintain in good working order.

e.      Keep the working environment clean.

f.       Inspect tractors OR Combines engines and mechanical components to diagnose issue accurately.

g.      Conducting routine maintenance work (replace fluid, lubricating parts) aiming to machine functionality.

h.      Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issue (e.g leaks).

i.        Documented daily equipment inspections and submitted daily inspection forms to supervisors. 

j.       Any duties assigned by Management

Qualifications

1.      Grade 12 certificate as entry level.

2.      Certificate in Heavy Equipment Machines or Agriculture Equipment

3.      2 year and more experience on John Deere Machines
