JOB DESCRIPTION – CROSS-BORDER LOGISTICS OFFICER

Position: Cross-Border Logistics Officer

Department: Logistics

Reports To: Operations Manager / Logistics Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor cross-border transportation of goods and equipment.
• Prepare and verify customs, import/export, and transport documentation.
• Liaise with customs authorities, clearing agents, transporters, and clients.
• Track shipments and ensure timely delivery across borders.
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations and company procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, costs, and logistics activities.
• Resolve delays, documentation issues, and other transportation challenges.
• Prepare logistics reports and provide regular updates to management.

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Logistics, Transport, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in logistics, preferably cross-border operations.
• Knowledge of customs and border clearance procedures.
• Good communication, coordination, and organisational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
