JOB PURPOSE

To give support the Loan Officer team in loan processing, client on boarding, and portfolio management while gaining hands-on experience in the microfinance sector.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Assist clients with loan applications and documentation

2. Conduct basic credit assessment and data analysis

3. Support loan disbursement and repayment follow-ups

4. Maintain accurate client records and reports

5. Provide excellent customer service at the Kitwe Branch

6. Participate in marketing and field activities as required

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

- Age: 25 years and below

- Must be a fresh graduate from a recognized University or College

- Diploma or Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or any Business-related program

- Strong mathematical and analytical skills

- Computer literacy: MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- High levels of honesty, integrity and trustworthiness

- Self-motivated, eager to learn and grow in the microfinance sector

- Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team

CAREER GROWTH

Successful interns who demonstrate satisfactory performance in their duties will be considered for appointment to the full-time Loan Officer position.
