Loan Consultants

Location: Solwezi, Zambia

Broadleaf Credit Limited is seeking three (3) motivated and results-driven Loan Consultants to join our team in Solwezi.

Key Responsibilities

• Source, assess, and process loan applications from prospective clients.
• Conduct client due diligence and basic credit risk assessments.
• Promote the company’s loan products and grow the client portfolio.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
• Deliver excellent customer service by understanding customer needs, resolving queries promptly, and maintaining positive customer relationships.
• Follow up on loan repayments and support timely loan recovery.
• Maintain accurate client records and ensure proper documentation.
• Meet assigned sales, disbursement, and portfolio performance targets.
• Ensure compliance with company lending policies and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Prepare accurate reports on client activities, loan applications, and portfolio performance.
• Conduct market outreach and identify new business opportunities within the assigned area.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Banking and Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Previous experience in sales, lending, microfinance, banking, or a related role will be an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of the local business environment in Solwezi.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and negotiation skills.
• Strong sales and business development abilities.
• Ability to work independently and meet targets.
• Good record-keeping and reporting skills.
• Must be based in Solwezi or willing to relocate.
