Human Resources Officer

We are looking for a competent and experienced Human Resources Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will support the day-to-day Human Resource function while ensuring compliance with labour laws and statutory obligations.

Key Duties

• Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, and employee records management.
• Process monthly payroll and maintain the HR Information System (HRIS).
• Prepare and submit statutory returns (NAPSA, NHIMA, Workers' Compensation, and PAYE).
• Ensure compliance with the Employment Code Act and other labour laws.
• Manage employee relations, disciplinary matters, grievances, and conflict resolution.
• Administer leave, performance management, and other HR functions.
• Prepare HR reports and maintain accurate personnel records.

Minimum Requirements

• Advanced Diploma in Human Resource Management or a related field (Bachelor's Degree is an added advantage).
• Minimum 3 years' practical experience in Human Resource Management.
• Sound knowledge and practical application of Zambian labour laws.
• Experience in payroll administration and HR Information Systems (HRIS).
• Experience with statutory returns (NAPSA, NHIMA, Workers' Compensation, and PAYE).
• Experience working in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Must be a registered and fully paid-up member of the Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management (ZIHRM).
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
