Human Resources Business Partner

We are seeking a strategic and people-focused Human Resources Business Partner to serve as the on-ground HR backbone supporting rapid site growth and operational expansion.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with site leadership to execute workforce and people strategies aligned with business growth
• Support workforce planning, staffing coordination, and organizational scalability initiatives
• Drive employee retention, engagement, and workforce stability initiatives
• Act as a trusted HR partner for employees and leadership
• Support employee engagement activities and workplace culture initiatives
• Ensure full compliance with Zambian labour laws, company policies, and HR best practices
• Maintain accurate HR records and documentation
• Support audits, reporting, and compliance monitoring to ensure zero penalties or non-compliance risks
• Monitor and support HR-related budget adherence and cost optimization initiatives
• Assist with HR reporting, workforce metrics, and operational analysis
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency within HR operations and processes
• Drive HR process digitization and automation initiatives
• Support the implementation of modern HR systems and workflows
• Improve operational efficiency through technology and streamlined HR practices

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field
• Previous experience in HR Business Partnering, People Operations, or HR Generalist roles
• Strong understanding of Zambian labour laws and HR compliance requirements
• Experience supporting workforce planning and employee engagement initiatives
• Strong administrative, organizational, and reporting skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems/tools
