Details

To provide strategic leadership and management of the Human Resource function, ensuring effective implementation of HR policies, systems, and practices that support organizational goals, promote a high-performance culture, and ensure compliance with Zambian labour laws.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the company’s vision and operational objectives.
Oversee the full scope of HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and succession planning.
Ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies.
Lead and support disciplinary and grievance procedures in accordance with labour laws and company standards.
Provide HR analytics and reports to management for strategic decision-making.
Maintain effective communication and employee relations across all departments
Ensure accurate HR data management, payroll and workforce planning.
Foster a culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Experience

Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum of 2 years’ proven experience in a HR management role, preferably in the mining or heavy industrial sector.
Full membership with the Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management (ZIHRM) is compulsory.
Strong knowledge of Zambian labour laws and employment regulations.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with multi-cultural teams.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
