JOB VACANCY: HUMAN RESOURCES OFFICER

Bafokeng Hydraulics Zambia, based in Chingola, is seeking a structured, proactive, and qualified Human Resources Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will oversee day-to-day HR operations, ensure statutory compliance, and support staff management.

Key Responsibilities

·       Manage end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and employee documentation.

·       Oversee payroll processing and ensure timely management of statutory monthly returns (NAPSA, ZRA, NHIMA).

·       Maintain up-to-date employee records and manage HR database systems.

·       Support management in implementing disciplinary procedures and performance reviews in line with the Zambian Employment Code Act.

·       Serve as a primary point of contact for staff grievances and welfare inquiries.

Qualifications & Experience

·       Education: Minimum of a Diploma in Human Resources Management, Public Administration, or a related field.

·       Professional Membership: Valid and current practicing license from the Zambia Institute of Human Resources Management (ZIHRM) is mandatory.

·       Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of proven experience in an active HR role.

·       IT Skills: Highly computer literate, with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and standard HR/payroll software.
