FINANCE MANAGER

JM Turnkey Construction is hiring for;

The Savoy Hotel invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Finance Manager. This role is responsible for overseeing and managing the hotel’s financial operations, ensuring strong financial controls, timely reporting, accurate budgeting, and compliance with relevant requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily financial operations and ensure proper cash and accounting controls.
• Lead preparation and management of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans for the hotel.
• Ensure timely preparation of monthly/quarterly/annual financial reports (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely processing and reconciliation.
• Support revenue monitoring and cost control initiatives across departments.
• Ensure accurate recording, filing, documentation, and compliance with internal control procedures.
• Coordinate and support annual audits; ensure follow-up and resolution of audit findings.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support management decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with applicable statutory and regulatory requirements (where applicable).

Qualifications & Experience

• ACCA or CIMA is an added advantage (preferred professional accounting qualification).
• 5 years’ experience in a finance/accounting role (hotel/hospitality experience is an advantage).
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration (or equivalent).
• Proven experience with budgeting, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Strong knowledge of accounting systems and Microsoft Excel (advanced Excel is an advantage).
