ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH TECHNOLOGIST

VACANCY: ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH TECHNOLOGIST

COPTIC HOSPITAL is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Environmental Health Technologist.

Key Responsibilities

-Conduct environmental health inspections and assessments within the hospital.

-Monitor compliance with environmental health, hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards.

-Ensure proper waste management and disposal practices.

-Conduct health and safety awareness and provide guidance to staff on environmental health matters.

-Identify environmental health risks and recommend appropriate corrective measures.

-Maintain accurate records and prepare relevant reports.

-Perform any other duties as assigned by management.

-Qualifications & Requirements

-Diploma or Degree in Environmental Health or a related field from a recognised institution.

-Verification of all qualifications by ZAQA is required.

-Must be registered with HPCZ and possess a valid practicing licence.

-Relevant work experience will be an added advantage.

-Good communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.

-Ability to work effectively in a hospital environment.

-Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
