Business Development Officer

Are you a results-driven professional with a passion for driving business growth, building strong client relationships, and identifying new market opportunities? We are looking for a highly motivated Business Development Officer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

* Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive company growth.

* Develop and implement effective business development and sales strategies.

* Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.

* Prepare and deliver compelling business proposals and presentations.

* Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.

* Negotiate contracts and close business deals.

* Generate leads through networking, referrals, and other business development initiatives.

* Achieve monthly and annual sales and revenue targets.

* Collaborate with internal departments to ensure excellent customer service and project delivery.

* Prepare regular sales and business development reports for management.

* Represent the company at networking events, exhibitions, and client meetings.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

* Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Economics, or a related field.

* Minimum of 3 years’ proven experience in business development, sales, or marketing.

* Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.

* Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.

* Excellent interpersonal and relationship management abilities.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

* Valid driver’s licence will be an added advantage.

* Experience preparing business proposals and responding to tenders will be an added advantage.
