Assistant Accountant and Accounts Assistant

EWSC now seeks to recruit dynamic, enthusiastic and suitably qualified individuals to fill the vacancies of Assistant Accountant and Accounts Assistant to be based at its Chipata District Office and Head Office respectively.

Job Purpose

1.    Assistant Accountant at Chipata District

To undertake accounting functions and responsibilities at the District through the preparation of financial statements, accounting and expenditure against budget and assists in the preparation of the corporate budget by consolidating the district budget submissions.

Minimum Qualifications

·      Grade 12 School Certificate with university entrance passes

·      ZICA Licentiate, ACCA Level 2, CIMA Level 2, ZICA Diploma level 2 in Accountancy

·      Knowledge of Microsoft Applications (MS-Word, MS-Excel, etc.) is a MUST

·      Member of a Professional Body, the Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants (ZICA)

·      Any related experience will be an added advantage.

2.    Accountants Assistant at Head Office

To undertake clerical roles and tasks in the accounts department so as to facilitate financial transactions and accounting.

Minimum Qualifications

·      Full Grade 12 Certificate

·      ZICA Technician / NATECH / Any equivalent accountancy qualification

·      Knowledge of Microsoft Applications (MS-Word, MS-Excel, etc.) is a MUST

·      Member of a Professional Body, the Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants (ZICA)

·      Any related experience will be an added advantage.
