After-Sales Solar Technician

CORE ACTIVITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Technical support: Serve as the primary point of contact for customers' technical problems and provide assistance with solar batteries and Invertors.
•  Troubleshooting and repair: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair problems with solar system components, including panels, batteries, and other electrical equipment.
• Customer follow-up: Ensure customer issues are resolved satisfactorily by following up after service has been provided.
• Training: Train sales agents and other technicians on the proper operation and installation of solar products.
• Documentation: Document all work performed, including components used and actions taken.
• Customer education: Advise customers on the proper operation of their equipment and educate them on solar power solutions. 

CORE & GENERAL COMPETENCIES

• Knowledge of electrical systems like Batteries (Lemeon, Lux watt Dyness) and Invertors (Must, Lux Power and SRNE)
• Experience with solar installation or electrical work is highly desirable
• Customer Service 
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and time-management skills.
• Analytical abilities and attention to detail. 

QUALIFICATIONS

• Grade Twelve (12) Certificate
• Diploma in Electrical & Electronics or a related field
