Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Intern to join our finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a keen interest in accounting to gain practical experience in a professional environment.

Key Requirements

RESIDENCY: Mumbwa residents ONLY

Must be a zica member

Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma/degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SAGE PASTEL

Excellent numerical and analytical skills

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Good communication and organisational skills

Responsibilities

-Assist with statutory obligations

-Help maintain and update financial records and ledgers

-Prepare financial statements and reports under supervision

-Support month-end closing processes

-Assist with bank reconciliation and general ledger reconciliations
