JOB ADVERTISEMENT – ACCOUNTS INTERN

SIMPLY ACCOUNTS LIMITED is a growing accounting and business advisory firm providing accounting, tax, payroll, secretarial, and business support services to a diverse range of clients across multi-sector businesses.

We are seeking a suitably qualified, motivated, and detail-oriented individual to fill the position of Accounts Intern at our Livingstone Branch.

Position: Accounts Intern

Location: Livingstone, Zambia.

Key Responsibilities

·        Processing accounting transactions and maintaining accurate financial records.

·        Assisting with bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, and payroll processing.

·        Preparing statutory returns including PAYE, NAPSA, and NHIMA.

·        Managing debtor and creditor accounts.

·        Assisting clients with accounting and compliance matters.

·        Maintaining proper filing and record-keeping systems.

·        Performing other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements

·        High School Certificate

·        Certificate, Diploma, or ZICA Technician qualification in Accounting or a related field.

·        Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.

·        Strong numerical and analytical skills.

·        Good communication and interpersonal skills.

·        High levels of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.

·        Previous accounting experience will be an added advantage.
