Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• ZICA member
• Financial Reporting: Prepare, analyze, and maintain accurate financial records, such as income statements and balance sheets, on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Reconciliation & Ledger Maintenance: Reconcile bank statements, credit cards, and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy.
• Compliance & Tax: Ensure compliance with financial regulations, standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS), and file tax returns.
• Accounts Payable/Receivable: Manage incoming and outgoing payments, including processing invoices and managing payroll.
• Budgeting & Analysis: Assist with budget preparation, forecasting, and analyze financial data to identify cost-reduction opportunities.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
• Certifications: CPA, CA, CMA, or ACCA designations are highly valued.
• Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software like QuickBooks, SAP, or Tally.
• Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret complex data and identify trends.
• Attention to Detail: High accuracy in maintaining records. 
• Accuracy of financial reports.
• Adherence to closing deadlines.
