Accountant / Finance

Key Responsibilities

• Mainly external connections, such as the tax bureau and customs.

• Handle daily accounting and financial transactions

• Be familiar with and independently operate the ZRA tax system

• Handle VAT, PAYE, WHT and other tax-related matters

• Prepare and maintain employee contracts and personnel records

• Calculate monthly payroll, salaries and related deductions

• Handle statutory employee-related contributions and compliance

• Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accounting records

• Prepare monthly financial reports and supporting documents

• Assist with audits and other finance/administrative matters

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field preferred

• Relevant accounting or finance working experience

• Good knowledge of the ZRA tax system and Zambian taxation procedures

• Experience in payroll calculation and employee contract administration

• Good Microsoft Excel skills

• Responsible, honest, detail-oriented and able to work independently

Salary: Negotiable, based on experience and qualifications.
