Accountant

The Accountant & Finance Officer will be responsible for managing the company’s financial records, budgeting, cost control, payroll, tax compliance, and financial reporting. The role ensures strong financial management systems to support construction projects, material supply operations, and overall business performance.

Required Skills & Competencies

·       Strong knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS knowledge is an advantage).

·       Experience in cost accounting and project accounting.

·       Knowledge of tax regulations.

·       Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, Pastel, QuickBooks, or similar).

·       Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

·       High level of integrity and confidentiality.

·       Good communication and reporting skills.

Required

Qualifications

·       Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field.

·       Professional qualification (ZICA, ACCA, or CIMA – added advantage).

·       Minimum 2–3 years experience (preferably in construction or project environment).
